Setting up my 1st blog...

So in all the excitement last night I forgot to say thanks to a fellow loquat who introduced me to the world of blogging! So, please take a moment to visit/follow http://missdaisycrafts.blogspot.com/ http://missdaisycrafts.blogspot.com/

What’s a loquat you ask… we loquats are members of a UK competition website called loquax. It’s a lovely friendly website and I’ve been fortunate over the years to win the odd small prize…it was actually during my attempts to get back into regular comping that I came across these crafty blogs and now I’m a bit hooked… so sadly comping is taking a back seat again. It’s not all bad though, I am now really enthusiastic to get back into my more creative side of craft related projects 

So this morning, I’ve been having a play with settings and looking at various blogger templates. Sadly I’m not having much joy trying to work out how everything works the way I’d like it to, but seeing as I’m still technically a newbie, I’m sure many more changes are to follow as I experiment with new things.

I’m going to try to separate some of my crafty activities out over a few pages… if I can. Hopefully that’ll help my blog not be such a jungle to wade through! All advice welcome though!

In the meantime, I will be updating the various pages with a variety of older information which incorporates older projects. So please bear with me and I’ll try to do justice to my new blog.

Looking forward to exploring all your blogs… please do follow me though and help me learn more in the world of craft 

So, I guess I should really start by saying a big thank you for stopping by to visit my blog - All Crafts at Home.

This is my first ever blog... I almost didn't make it as it took me ages to find a craft related blog title that I was able to use... not to mention trying to find a background layout that I liked. I went with the layout "a single tree" as my first background, I hope you like it!

I'm new to blogging but it's already captured my attention so lets hope that I can make it something I can keep up with on a more frequent basis then I'm able to craft!

I'm aiming this blog at all crafts that I seem to do around the home. So this could be anything really like card making, scrapbooking, cross stitch, gardening, cooking etc... anything with a creative element that I can spend a few moments enjoying during my rather hectic life.

Right now my next creative moment at home is sleep… blog you again soon, night night :-)
